Kyosho Mini-Z 4x4 Belt Track Crawler Kit Catappi (1 pair) MXW009

The Kyosho MX-01 "Catappi" Belt Crawler Unit, is a belt track conversion intended to replace standard tires on MX-01 kits to replicate a tough, track equipped rig for dramatically expanded performance in a variety of terrain. The belt has a full-scale structure that connects high-precision molded shoes with stainless steel pins. The belt itself does not stretch very much, preventing the belt from coming off while driving. In addition, the track type system improves the ability to overcome large steps and improve performance in rough terrain.

The tracks feature a soft material "grip plate" and sharp "spike parts". By installing these, the road surface that can be driven will be further expanded. Since the sprocket diameter is 24mm compared to the standard tire diameter of 37/42 mm, it lowers the gearing and helps to create the torque needed to clear rocky obstacles and steep slopes. Once assembled, the "Catappi" can be installed and removed as easily as changing tires.

NOTE: Two sets are required to replace four wheels.
